Computer Labs provide a switch that allows the use of either the existing computer or an instructor provided device.
OC's connection standard to projectors is HDMI - an alternative adapter may be required for different video output ports on your particular device. Some rooms have common adapters while many do not. IT Services and some Library AV drops have adapters. Please plan ahead and confirm your needs if other than HDMI.
The above is our standard classroom and computer lab configuration - we do have specialty rooms such Video Conferencing with multiple projectors and room based microphones for Online Courses that may be available. Our AV drops or IT Services AV department may also have additional technology available - see our related article.
With over 200 instructional rooms in the OC system, due to time, staffing and budgetary constraints it is difficult to maintain perfect consistency across all. The above represents our current targeted standard and actual room controls may vary.
