Adobe Acrobat work versus personal user account

Having issues accessing your OC Adobe Acrobat license?

You have received your new Adobe Acrobat license from IT services. But, after you have installed Acrobat, it is asking you to sign up for a trial license?

This is caused by Adobe creating two profiles for your @okanagan.bc.ca email address - one work, one personal.

You will need to set the automatic profile selection to manual to make it clear which profile you are using.

Step 1

Log in to your Adobe account.

Step 2

Select Account and Security

Step 3

Turn off Select my profile automatically.

Step 4

Sign out of Adobe everywhere (browsers, Creative Suite, Acrobat, etc).

Step 5

When you sign back in to Adobe, it should prompt to select which profile you want to use, Personal or Business. Selecting Business should show all your active licenses assigned by Okanagan College.

If you continue to have issues, please contact the IT Services desk.
