OWL Room Instructions
The Meeting OWL Room is designed to simplify and enhance your classroom or meeting experience by providing easy-to-use technology for video conferencing and presentations. This article provides step-by-step instructions for connecting your laptop, configuring displays, and making the most out of the Meeting OWL Room setup. Whether you are an instructor or a participant, following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth and productive session.
Connect PC
A monitor and dock should be at the instructor’s classroom workstation.
Connect your laptop via the USB-C Cable connected to the Dock

Setup Displays
Go to Settings>System>Display and adjust Display settings to adjust the display orientation.
There should be 3 displays that appear for Laptop Screen, Monitor and Projector
Extend these Displays: Treats monitor as one large desktop allowing windows to be moved between each display.
Duplicate these displays: Shows the same image on the screens that are duplicated.
Select Identify: Displays numbers on the screen to help you know which is which.
Rearrange Displays: Drag and drop the screen icons to match their physical location on your desk/room to ensure the mouse moves correctly between them.
The purpose of the Monitor is to be used as a confidence monitor displaying slides notes or presenter view allowing them to face the students while lecturing.
Meeting Owl App
Please download the Meeting Owl Application via the Company portal application on your laptop.
This App is used to setup and control and manage a Meeting Owl Device.

Open Meeting Application (Zoom or Teams)
Start a meeting select Meeting Owl 3 and Meeting Owl Camera for your Audio and Video settings in your Meeting App.
In Zoom start a meeting and select Meeting Owl 3 and Meeting Owl camera for Audio and Video
In Teams Settings> Devices Select the Meeting Owl device and Meeting Owl Camera for Speaker Microphone and Camera

Meeting Owl App
To adjust your Meeting Owl please start a meeting in your desired meeting application like Teams or Zoom.
Open the Meeting Owl Application and you will be able to adjust camera position and adjust Owl device if needed while seeing the adjustments made live in the meeting application.
