SECURE PRINT VIA PAPERCUT

Secure printing, also known as pull printing or print release, is a method of printing that requires user authentication at the printer before a print job is released and printed.

Intended for faculty and staff who require secure printing. This system allows print jobs to be released at the printer by tapping a Salto access badge.

 

1). Install PaperCut via Company portal app 

a). Open the Company Portal via the start button, select the Company Portal app.

B). Find the PaperCut app in the Company Portal

C). Install the app

2). Open PaperCut to install the secure print queue

a). Find the PaperCut app in the system tray, select the app to open PaperCut

b). Install the FindMePrint or FindMePrint [Print-Server-1](Mobility) queue. Will require one-time login

c). Change username to OC email address and enter password. The print queue will begin installing.

3). Print to the secure print queue

a). From any print dialog (Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, etc) select the FindMePrint or FindMePrint [Print-Server-1](Mobility) queue and print normally.

b). Take your Salto-enabled badge to any MFD printer. Tap your badge and release your job when prompted.
