Create Meeting Room Link to Kaltura on Your Course Homepage

If you previously used Blackboard Collaborate as your online virtual classroom then Okanagan College has now replaced this with Kaltura Virtual Classroom.

You can create a link to Kaltura Virtual Classroom on the homepage of your Moodle shell by following these quick steps.

  1. Go to the homepage of your Moodle Shell.
  2. Click Turn Editing On at the top right of the page.
  3. Click + Add an activity or resource.
  4. Go to the Activities tab and select Text & Media Area.
  5. Click the downward pointing arrow and select the HTML button </>.
    (See screenshot below for the buttons in step 5)
  6. Delete the existing HTML code from the screen then copy & paste in the code below

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save and return to course

You can now click your Online Meeting Room button and it will take you to the page where you can click Start Meeting.
