📹 Embedding Zoom Recordings into Moodle
This tutorial walks you through two easy methods for adding your Zoom lecture or meeting recordings into Moodle using either a shareable link or by embedding the video via Kaltura (My Media).
Option 1: Add a Zoom Link to Moodle
- Step 1: Get the Shareable Link from Zoom (Recordings > Share > Copy link).
- Step 2: In Moodle, add a new URL resource, paste the link, and save.
Note: This opens in a new tab rather than embedding.
Option 2: Embed the Zoom Video Using Kaltura (My Media)
- Step 1: Download the Zoom recording (.mp4, .m4a, .vtt).
- Step 2: Upload the .mp4 file to My Media in Moodle.
- Step 3: Use the Kaltura embed option inside a course Text and Media area.
Captions may take up to 24 hours to appear.
