Set Your Email Options in Brightspace

Brightspace allows you to receive a copy of each message you send and choose the email address learners use when replying. These settings help you keep a record of your outgoing messages and receive replies in your Okanagan College inbox.

  • Send copies of your outgoing Brightspace messages to your Okanagan College email.
  • Direct replies to your Okanagan College email address.

Configure Your Email Options

Step 1: Open Account Settings

  1. Sign in to Brightspace.
  2. Select your name or profile image in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Account Settings.

Step 2: Update Your Email Options

  1. On the Account Settings page, select the Email tab.
  2. Under Email Options, select Send a copy of each outgoing message if you want copies of the messages you send through Brightspace delivered to your Okanagan College email.
  3. Confirm that your Okanagan College email is entered in the “Reply to” Email Address field. Replies to your Brightspace messages will be sent to this address.
  4. If desired, add or update your email signature.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save and Close.

Important: Use your Okanagan College email address in the “Reply to” Email Address field so learner replies are delivered to your college inbox.
