If you get the error code "Invalid username/password; Logon denied" when trying to access the Self-Service and Student Registration portal, this is typically caused by a caching issue with your web browser.
To solve this, you will need to clear the cache and cookies in the web browser you are currently using. Below are the steps provided to clear your cache and cookie data in Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari (Mac):
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge.
- Click the menu button (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- Select Clear browsing data.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Change the time range to All time.
- Click Clear now.
- Restart Edge
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Click the menu button (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- Select Delete browsing data.
- In the pop-up, select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Change the time range to All time.
- Click Clear data or Delete from this device.
- Restart Chrome
Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings (or Options).
- Go to Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Check Cookies and site data and Temporary cached files and pages.
- Click Clear and confirm.
- Restart Firefox
Safari (Mac)
- Open Safari.
- Click Safari in the top menu bar.
- Select Preferences (or Settings in newer versions).
- Go to the Privacy tab.
- Click Manage Website Data.
- Click Remove All to clear cookies and cache.
- Confirm by clicking Remove Now.
- Restart Safari
After your browser cache and cookies are cleared, restart your browser, sign into myOkanagan, and navigate to the registration page. The registration page should now display properly.
