The Teaching, Learning, and Innovation (TLI) team has launched a new way to connect with faculty and staff who are developing ideas to enhance teaching and learning at Okanagan College. The new Invitation to Engage with Teaching & Learning Innovations form makes it easy to start a conversation about your next project—whether you’re reimagining a course, developing authentic assessments, or integrating new technologies into your teaching.

Recent collaborations have included:
- Computer Science – co-designing courses and digital learning materials to strengthen instructional design.
- Welding and EdTech – creating accessible, media-rich resources to support hands-on learning.
- Library and assessment projects – helping reduce textbook costs through open and affordable course resources.
TLI can support projects such as:
- Curriculum and program development or revision
- Instructional and educational technology design (online, blended, media-rich learning)
- Incorporating Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in teaching and curriculum
- Authentic and effective assessment practices
- Library and research collaboration, including course-embedded research
- Faculty professional development and consultation
If you’re working on something new—or have an idea ready to explore—TLI can help bring it to life through creative collaboration and cross-college expertise.
