1 Confirm OneDrive is Backing Up Your Data

OneDrive is Microsoft's cloud storage service that allows you to store, share, back up, and synchronize your files online.

  1. Click the blue cloud icon in the bottom-right system tray (taskbar)
  2. Ensure you are signed in with your OC account
  3. Confirm your files are actively syncing

2 Export Chrome Bookmarks
  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner
  3. Hover over Bookmarks in the dropdown menu
  4. Select Bookmark Manager from the expanded menu
  5. In the Bookmark Manager tab, click the three-dot menu icon (top-right)
  6. Select Export bookmarks
  7. A file explorer window will appear — save the file to your OneDrive folder
3 Export Chrome Passwords
  1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu → select Settings
  2. Click Autofill and passwords
  3. Select Google Password Manager
  4. On the left side, click Settings
  5. Under Export Passwords, click Download file
  6. Enter your computer password if prompted to authorize the export
  7. Save the CSV file to your OneDrive folder
Important: Password export files are not encrypted. Store them securely in OneDrive and do not share them with anyone.

You have successfully backed up your data, bookmarks, and passwords. Keep these files in a secure OneDrive location, or use them to restore your setup on a new device.
